Introduction The world in 2026 carries many active wars and many quiet disputes. Each side in these disputes holds its own position. Each government defends its own choices. Each rebel group or opposition movement states its own case. This article lists the major conflicts active today. It presents only the stand taken by each government and each opposing party. It also presents the peace efforts tried so far. No judgment is offered about who is right. The goal is simple understanding of where each side stands and what has been tried to end the fighting. I.
